I have solved this problem by bypassing the filament sensor all together and just making sure I have enough filament for the print. The filament sensor is also near defective as its internals often fail to detect filament. I have no idea why this setting exists as the heated print bed is what maintains print bed adhesion and turning it off will result in prints de laminating from the print bed. This printer also has a setting called economy mode which turns off the printer bed after the first few layers adhere to the print surface. Make sure that you level the bed in the proper order or you will have a very frustrating time getting it to print properly. The auto leveling function on the printer is bugged so only use it when initially leveling the printer than turn it off for regular printing.
WARPED REALITY 2K CARDS HOW TO
You will also need to watch a few videos on how to use this printer and properly level it. You will need to familiarize yourself with both the printer and slicing program to get desirable prints. This printer is also an exercise in patience as the documentation that comes with the printer is minimal to say the least. With a very large print envelop you can print just about anything you want and with its heated bed, allows you to print with multiple materials. I've had my ender 3 with the stock bowden tube running for 1000+ hours printing PETG at 250 with no issue as well. There's a lot of people saying the bowden tube breaks down at 240, perhaps that's true, but I haven't seen it. It's been running for about 500 hours at 250 degrees, no issues yet. I use it to print industral PETG parts for a brewey. We recently changed bottle types and needed all new plastics (Star wheels, worm gears etc.) The quote from the manufacturer was 15k.we did it all with this printer for 2k. The ender 5 took a while to dial in but after a few attempts is printing PETG solid parts like a champ. While I didn't need there help in the end, it was nice to see they were going to stand behind the products they sell. That's why you should buy here and not Amazon.accountability. 3d printing canada responded quickly but the issue was solved without there help. Was assembled incorrectly at the factory and I did need to fix a broken corner bracket (luckally I already had an ender 3 and could print a new one). Now enjoy your colossal 3d printer its is amazing once setup is done The nozzle provided in the printer is not a 0.4mm nozzle i don't know what it is but not 0.4mm.

WARPED REALITY 2K CARDS MOD
(ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THE STANDARD FILAMENT I TRIED IT AND IT BROKE IN THE BOWDEN TUBE, CLOGGED THE NOZZLE, AND WAS A GENERAL PAIN IN THE ASS).ĭon't mod it until about 50 hrs of printing total and at least 20 hrs of printing on the printer unless you know what you're doing because diagnosis is a bitch when you have no clue how the printer works or what has failed in the past when you had an entire sub ready to support you because now you're on your own. The filaments sensor is really finicky and hard to use I would only recommend it around the last 100g on your nozzle, or if you don't change filaments often or at all do it the one time and move on. use zhome to set the z height for printing (remember to set it a little low then use the setting while printing to raize it also z- raises the bed z+ lowers it this setting saves for future prints). I scratched my bed by accidentally starting low, make sure to start high when levelling.īltouch, if you have never used bltouch it tells you how far the bed is from the nozzle from different points on the bed.

be careful when building that you don't break the 6pin connectors I did but got lucky and just bent the pins in place. Absolutely requires an enclosure to function you have to take it apart and put it back together (but I mean it's a 3d printer that's sorta basic you will never get It right first try).
